Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ida, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.

License

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Ida for your personal or commercial purposes.

Permitted Use

You may use Ida to:

• Capture and transcribe audio
• Index and search documentation
• Generate AI-powered recommendations and responses
• Store notes and organize information
• Integrate with your Google Calendar

Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the application for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Use the application to infringe on intellectual property rights
• Record conversations without proper consent as required by applicable law
• Distribute, sublicense, or sell the application

Third-Party Services

Ida relies on third-party AI services (Groq, OpenAI, AssemblyAI) to provide its features. These services have their own terms of service, and your use of Ida constitutes acceptance of their terms as well:

We are not responsible for any issues arising from third-party services, including service interruptions, changes to their terms, or pricing changes.

User Content

You retain all rights to the content you create using Ida (recordings, transcriptions, notes). We do not claim ownership of your content. However, by using our optional sync features, you grant us the right to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Recording Consent

Important: You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws regarding audio recording and consent. This includes obtaining consent from all parties before recording conversations where required by law. We are not liable for your misuse of recording features.

Updates and Modifications

We may update Ida from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance. Updates may be delivered automatically or require manual installation. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Ida is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The application will be error-free or uninterrupted
• Transcriptions will be 100% accurate
• AI-generated content will be accurate or reliable
• Your data will never be lost (always maintain backups)
• Third-party services will remain available

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Data Backup

While we implement reasonable security measures, you are responsible for maintaining backups of your important data. We are not liable for any data loss.

Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate by uninstalling Ida. We may terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the application.

Privacy

Your use of Ida is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or our website. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
