Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ida, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

License and Permitted Use

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Ida for your personal or commercial purposes. You may use Ida to capture and transcribe audio, organize sales work, index and search documentation, generate AI-assisted recommendations, and connect supported services such as Google Calendar and Gmail.

Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use Ida for an illegal purpose or to violate another person's rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Ida, Google data, systems, or networks
• Use data from connected services for surveillance, advertising, or data brokerage
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, sublicense, or resell the application except where applicable law permits
• Remove proprietary notices or interfere with security controls
• Record conversations without the consent required by applicable law

Connected Services and User Content

You retain rights to content you provide to Ida. You authorize Ida to store and process that content only as needed to provide the features you choose, including optional sync and integrations. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect, process, and share information made available through your account.

Connected services have their own terms and may change or become unavailable. Google data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and Google API Data Use disclosure.

Third-Party Services

Ida relies on service providers such as Groq, OpenAI, and AssemblyAI for features you choose to use. Their terms apply to their services:

Recording Consent

Important: You are responsible for complying with laws governing audio recording and consent, including obtaining consent from all parties where required.

Updates, Availability, and Data Backup

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Ida or individual features. You are responsible for maintaining backups of important data. Third-party services may be interrupted or change independently of Ida.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Ida is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output or transcriptions will be accurate, or that third-party services will remain available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ida will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Termination and Deletion

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using Ida and request deletion as described on our Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms.

Privacy, Changes, and Contact

Our Privacy Policy governs how we handle information. We may update these terms and will post the updated date here. Questions can be sent to hello@tryida.com.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
